Journal 1: 100 Things That Make Me Happy

1) Laying on a blanket in the grass
2) Petting dogs and cats - especially my cats Stu and P. Diddy (No, I'm not a fan of the rapper P. Diddy)
3) Spending time with my family - immediate and relatives
4) Holding my boyfriend's hand
5) Listening to Christmas music (mainly Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Beach Boys, and Celine Dion)
6) Decorating for Christmas (we go all out at my house...it takes multiple days to get it all done)
7) feeling a cool breeze coming through the window of my room
8) Watching my favorite Jame's Taylor: Live at the Beacon Theater DVD
9) Seeing that I got a good grade in a class
10) Being in love
11) Thinking of my late grandparents
12) Falling asleep with clean sheets
12) Going to concerts (some of the favorites I've been to: Brad Paisley twice, Kings of Leon, Minus the Bear, Kenny Chesney, James Taylor, The Beach Boys)
13) Going to the San Diego Fair (or the Del Mar Fair, whichever you prefer)
14) Getting to the top of a mountain after a long hike
15) Going on picnics
16) Eating a nice, big, fresh, home-cooked meal
17) Going to Disneyland (I love having an annual pass)

19) Spending time in Julian, CA
20) Traveling (I recently got over a serious homesickness issue - so this makes me doubly happy, knowing I can see new places without the anxiety)
21) Playing a leisurely game of tennis with my old high school teammates
22) Thinking of all the summers I spent playing travel softball around San Diego (ages 8-16)
23) Swimming in my pool
24) Eating my mom's chocolate cake
25) Going to lunch with my uncles
26) Looking at childhood photos, of friends and I or of my family members
27) Finishing a good book
28) Going to weddings
29) Seeing the kids I nanny grasp a new academic topic (two of them have special needs, so this can be a timely process)
30) When the song I have been dying to hear comes on the radio
32) Camping, preferably in the mountains anywhere
33) Volunteering at my old elementary school -Mt. Woodson Elementary
34) Sitting under a big, shady tree
35) Eating enchiladas at my favorite Mexican Restaurant, El Michoacan in Ramona, CA
36) Going to the movies, especially to see a chick flick
38) Wearing my favorite pajamas (flannels in the winter are my favorite)
39) Going shopping with my sister
40) Going to the driving range with my brother and sister

42) Girl's night with all my best friends
43) Camping in Mammoth with Josh's family
44) Road Trips (especially to beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico)
